An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Ashford, Tenterden and Whitfield Agency.

About the role


------------------


To support the delivery of the Agency's strategy by effectively managing a portfolio of commercial and personal clients, with advised and non-advised policies through distance and non-distance reviews. To establish positive and strong customer relationships that result in high levels of retention through excellent customer service provision.

Acquire and maintain knowledge of NFU Mutual products and NFU Mutual product and claims licences as appropriate. Provide a high quality level of technical expertise and customer advice within the specialist area of insurance provision for the role.


- Effectively manage a portfolio of commercial and personal clients, with advised and non-advised policies - turning new customer leads into established relationships through positive relationship building and the provision of excellent, professional and relevant advice.

Undertaking preparation and collate accurate information to carry out distance and non-distance reviews and customer care meetings. Conducting all client meetings in a positive, professional and appropriate way. Efficiently managing post review meeting actions - processing changes, checking documentation, drafting post-call reports, obtaining and communicating quotes, communicating terms and following up all actions to satisfactory completion. Proactively managing accounts by initiating regular communication with clients and responding to queries and processing actions effectively. Identify and action opportunities for cross-sales for existing clients to contribute to the growth of the Agency, including introducing Financial Services products. Represent the Agency positively at trade events/shows and networking opportunities, utilising opportunities to successfully generate new business leads. Process payments from customers in line with relevant policies and procedures. Produce up-to-date records for every customer interaction and contact, ensuring all notes are captured clearly, accurately and timely. Consistently provide excellent levels of customer service in all interactions with potential and existing customers, delivering on promises, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations. Always demonstrate high values of trust and integrity, acting as a positive role model in line with the values and ethos of the Agency. Build and maintain effective working relationships within the Agency team and all relevant key contacts and teams within NFU Mutual. Ensure all duties are carried out in a way which complies with relevant external legislation and regulation, NFU Mutual compliance and other procedures and local Agency policies and processes. Deliver ad-hoc projects and/or other duties as required, to support the delivery of business strategy and enhance customer experience.

About you

Essential:



Experience of insurance and working in a regulated environment Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service and relationship building Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office and the ability to effectively use NFU Mutual systems Good maths and problem solving skills Able to manage own workload and able to work effectively under pressure Great team working and ability to build effective relationships through positive behaviours, honesty and integrity. Focus on continuous improvement, able to use own initiative Demonstrate commitment to quality and compliance with procedures/regulations using due care, skill and diligence Desire to be the best, openness to personal development, learning new skills Own transport & full UK driving licence

Desirable:



Knowledge of NFU Mutual products Connection to or experience in relevant specialist sector e.g. farming/commercial
