We have an exciting opportunity for an Insurer Reconciliation Relationship Co-Ordinator to join our remote team. You will be responsible for the management of insurer accounts queries for our brokers. You will provide oversight of their aged-debt and manage the relationship; resolving queries and providing insight to insurer statement performance.

What you will do as an Insurer Reconciliation Relationship Co-Ordinator:




This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on the following and more:

Resolve Insurer Reconciliation Queries - take through to settlement or prepare to be settled. Proactively engage with Insurers to understand issues and/or concerns to ensure these can be addressed, focusing on query resolution, root cause analysis, process improvement and insurer aged debt positions. Manage monthly meetings with insurers, to discuss performance and query management. Liaise with internal teams to communicate insurer concerns/issues and ensure teams have the relevant information and understanding to address the issues in a timely manner. Manage own query data, ensuring capture of latest actions and where actions are held, driving through to resolution. Understand and manage aged debt profile. Triage ad-hoc requests from insurers and ensure the relevant teams are engaged in addressing such queries within agreed deadline and expectations are managed. Where applicable, investigate the root cause for queries that arise to help improve the process and prevent queries occurring in future Triage ad-hoc requests from insurers and ensuring that the Query Management team are fully engaged in prioritising queries in line with agreed deadlines and expectations have been managed with Insurers. Communicate and build relationships with Insurer Broking Accounts teams. Fulfil responsibilities in line with agreed processes to achieve agreed objectives, and in doing so, ensure compliance with the client and insurer money rules within the FCA Handbook

What we are looking for in an Insurer Reconciliation Relationship Co-Ordinator:



Previous experience in Insurer Reconciliation. Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills. Can use their initiative, is proactive, resourceful, excellent attention to detail and can embrace change positively whilst working under pressure. Microsoft Excel skills to an intermediate level including lookups and pivots (Desirable) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Initiative, proactivity, enquiring approach, resourcefulness. Adaptability, ability to embrace and respond positively to change. Analytical and investigative skills, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills - individually and collaboratively. Ability to work under pressure. Integrity and assertiveness when dealing with complex / business critical issues. Flexibility of working practices, priorities and hours to meet business demands.
