The Person




The Intelligence Analyst/ Investigation support role provides an invaluable development opportunity within the Counter Fraud team. You will be at the heart of supporting both the adjusters and investigators in fraud identification and detection It requires someone who is well organised, systematic in approach, motivated, receptive to positive change, and able to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities




The Intelligence Analyst/ Investigation support member will report directly to the Head of Counter Fraud. Responsibilities include the ability to undertake a range of intelligence related investigative research in an ethical & professional manner, employing best practice & key investigative competencies, including (though are not limited to):

FNOL searches/reports using open and closed source material Prepare claimant profiling reports using open and closed source material Assist investigators/ prepare major loss screening reports as appropriate Profiling risks and claims for potential fraud Provide administrative support to investigators, including report formatting and invoicing Assist in the management of investigators tasks/activities and where applicable issue file reviews to policyholders and Insurers Manage investigators' mailboxes when they are on leave Remain abreast of the legal landscape including regulatory requirements and new legislation Uphold Woodgate & Clark Limited Code of Business Conduct at all times You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required and notified to you by the Company.

Skills and Experience (E: essential, D: desirable)



Sound written and verbal communication skills, including ability to conduct research using open and closed source material (E). Attention to detail (E). Experience of supporting adjusters/ investigators in an administrative role (E) Excellent customer service, organisational & planning skills (E) Capable of prioritising competing workloads in busy periods and balance/coordinate a variety of work concurrently (E). Proactive, positive and quality-focused (E). IT skills to include MS Word, Excel and other MS office applications

Education and Qualifications (E: essential, D: desirable)



ACFS and/or APSIP, ACII and /or ACILA qualification (D) Intelligence or Fraud Related Degree or experience (D) * Equivalent practical on the job experience/ willingness to learn/ training will be provided (E).
