Allocate work to property services officers, supervisors, external contractors, or sub-contractors as needed. Monitor and ensure established standards of work, cost, and quality for building maintenance, construction, or related projects within the team. Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations, guidelines, and British Standards, including BS 9999, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and PAS 79. Apply knowledge of contract law and statutory regulations in relation to refurbishment and maintenance contracts. Supervise and support a team of staff and contractors, ensuring programmes are implemented effectively and targets set by the Team Manager are met.
