Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of School to lead our broad and high-performing portfolio of adult education programmes. Delivering courses from pre-entry to Level 7 senior management qualifications, funded through a range of sources including the ASF, ALL, Tailored learning, and self-funding, this department requires a leader with significant expertise in Adult learning. The successful candidate will oversee every stage of the learner journey, you will ensure that all programmes meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and learner experience, while managing budgets effectively to support the college's strategic aims.


You will be responsible for key performance indicators of the school. Working closely with your team and Deputy Heads of School, you will look to continually develop a high-quality, innovative curriculum that meets local and regional needs for both learners and employers and delivers high quality outcomes for students. You will create a culture of performance aligned to the College strategic ambitions.


We are looking for someone with skills and knowledge of high-level leadership, curriculum, quality and financial management. You will use your knowledge and skills to drive forward an innovative, successful provision. Your core knowledge of further education, management, leadership and culture will enhance the learning experience for students to ensure that they can progress into their chosen career.
