Role Responsibilities
This role provides temporary/interim management cover. For the right candidate, this position
may transition into a permanent Registered Manager role
based on performance and suitability.
As the Interim Care Home Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to maintain, strengthen, and continuously improve care standards. Responsibilities include:
a) Leading, inspiring, and developing staff to achieve consistently high standards of care and resident satisfaction.
b) Enhancing staff training and competency to uphold the Home's excellent reputation.
c) Ensuring safe, compliant delivery of care in line with regulatory requirements, policies, and best practice.
d) Building strong relationships with residents, families, Local Authorities, and external regulatory partners.
e) Contributing to strategic planning, business development, and effective budget management.
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
a) Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior role within the health or social care sector.
b) Strong team leadership skills and the ability to ensure smooth daily operations.
c) Knowledge of clinical governance, quality standards, and audit processes.
d) Motivation and passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
e) Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
f) High levels of integrity, fairness, and professional accountability.
g) Strong networking, digital literacy, and administrative skills.
Qualifications (Essential)
NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care

Registered Nurse (NMC PIN) with relevant clinical experience
