Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Interior Design Assistant to join our growing team. This role will support the VIP and Trade Sales teams by creating tailored client proposals, mood boards, and product recommendations, while assisting with day-to-day design and sales operations. You'll play a key part in delivering an exceptional client experience, helping bring design concepts to life, and supporting commercial growth across our VIP and trade channels.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the VIP and Trade Sales teams to prepare bespoke design proposals and presentations for clients.
Create digital mood boards, floor plans, and product recommendations using Olivias.com's curated collections.
Support the design team with research, sourcing, and styling suggestions to meet client needs and project briefs.
Assist in client communication by preparing follow-up materials, updating proposals, and ensuring all information is accurate and on brand.
Collaborate with internal teams (buying, marketing, operations) to ensure product availability and timely delivery of client projects.
Maintain an organised library of design assets, inspiration, and product information.
Support with trade events, and presentations when required.
Skills & Experience
A passion for interiors, design, and creating inspirational spaces.
Either working towards or completion of a Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not essential if you have relevant experience).
Proficiency in design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, or similar) and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
Strong eye for detail, colour, and styling.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in a retail, luxury interiors, or trade design environment is highly desirable.
