About the Role
The company's corporate Press and PR Office, based in New Bond Street, London, is responsible for publicising all the auction house's activities to the international media with the aim of building a strong and positive perception of the Bonhams brand.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Day to day handling of all art-related press in the UK, and occasionally our international offices in LA, New York, Hong Kong and Paris
Create daily Coverage email for circulation around the company
To write and edit press releases for upcoming sales
Handle photo calls and liaise with specialists
Interview for publications and deal with press enquiries
Occasionally you will be required to help with other departments such as Cars, Entertainment memorabilia and Antiquities and assist the global team
Attend Auctions
Contribute to the production of Bonhams Magazine which is published online quarterly

Excellent word processing skills, knowledge of Word and Excel

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
Ability to be discreet and keep confidentiality
Flexibility and the ability to be a team player
