We are a friendly and supportive team and we are now looking for someone to come and support our communications and events activity to cover for maternity leave.
This 12-month fixed term contract would be ideal for someone wanting to gain some interim experience in a busy function with a focus on engaging people and driving our culture. The variety of this role offers the ability to use your existing skills and learn something new, too! Whether you are currently in marketing, or communication - you will no doubt have the transferable skills required to excel in this role!
Role Purpose
The Internal Communications Executive is responsible for supporting the business with internal communications activity. You will also be required to support with wider HR, Recruitment and Employee Engagement and Wellbeing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Embed the internal communications strategy, working closely with the HR Director to successfully align processes
The organisation of internal and external employee events
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders
Managing initiatives relating to community and charity such as running annual 'Charity of the Year' activity, building education links and coordinating jobs fairs and open days
Ensuring the correct use of the Rocal Group 'brands'
Annual / ad-hoc engagement survey support
Support HR Director to embed the Rocal values across the business
Coordinating staff recognition activity / events
Proving support to the wider HR team, as required
Working with marketing team to create internal/external promotional material
Sourcing branded goods
Support the business with events for external stakeholders (customers / suppliers) where required
Planning and coordinating internal events i.e. Lunchtime Learns, Rocal Book Club, Wellbeing Fairs
Collating information for Quarterly Team Briefs and communicating PRIDE Reward updates
What You Bring
Previous exposure to internal communications within an employment capacity
Good knowledge of web-based communication platforms
Experience of successfully organising internal and external events
Strong communication skills
Natural flair for organisation, with the ability to prioritise well and manage multiple projects
Ablility to build and maintain relationships
Cost-focussed nature and ability to work with set budgets
Full UK Driving Licence
Salary, Benefits, and Hours
12.21 to 12.60 per hour dependent on experience
Full or part time available between 32-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
