Role Purpose:




To elevate the Protective Care Group brand as a national leader in care and social impact through compelling content, strategic campaigns, and creative marketing initiatives. This role will play a critical part in increasing brand visibility, driving purposeful engagement, and supporting talent acquisition through authentic storytelling and employer branding across digital and social platforms.

Responsibilities:



Develop and lead employer branding campaigns that reflect PCG's mission and impact Own and implement the organisation's social media strategy across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Share meaningful, relatable stories that highlight our real impact and what it's like to be part of the team Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners to design, refine and amplify job adverts and promotional content Attend recruitment, networking and promotional events nationwide to elevate and promote PCG Develop and implement integrated marketing and PR strategies to increase national brand visibility Respond to media and PR requests, acting as a brand guardian and representative Monitor and report on social media and campaign performance using analytics and insight tools Ensure consistent messaging and tone across all channels, internal and external Work with internal teams to create newsletters, internal comms, and website content Build connections on LinkedIn with key individuals to support business development and awareness Keep up to date with sector trends, marketing best practices, and relevant legislation Analyse market conditions to proactively adjust content and campaign direction

Skills & Attributes



Creative, innovative thinker with a passion for storytelling Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with high standards for content quality and brand tone Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships Agile, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to changing digital trends Strong analytical mindset and able to turn insights into action Comfortable managing multiple priorities under pressure Confident using digital platforms, visual tools, and scheduling systems Strongly aligned with company values, ethos and purpose

Knowledge & Experience



Proven experience in a similar brand, social media, marketing or recruitment marketing role Strong knowledge of digital platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) Familiarity with content planning, scheduling, and analytics tools (e.g. Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta tools, LinkedIn Analytics) 2 years' experience working in children's social care with strong knowledge of PCG, the care industry and regulations. Experience cultivating and managing partnerships internally and externally that drive brand awareness and business outcomes Experience networking and being an ambassador to drive brand awareness and business outcomes Demonstrated ability to deliver effective campaigns aligned with organisational values Experience creating internal and external communications and content that aligns with company brand Experience developing content strategies and delivering results through digital channels Experience managing or contributing to PR/comms strategies is a bonus
