  • Chivas Brothers, the largest brand company in the Group, responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
  • Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group\xe2\x80\x99s duty free, air travel and cruises business.


We are an organisation of 2,000 employees in the UK, headquartered in London, in a brand-new office designed with sustainability, \xe2\x80\x98conviviality\xe2\x80\x99 and collaboration in mind. We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside.

Your new team
This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.

The Chivas Brothers Communications team have expertise across a diverse mix of disciplines from global brand communications and content production, influencer and experiential marketing and events, to corporate communications, internal communications and culture, and sustainability & responsibility (S&R).
We harness our brands with bold activations and human communications that engage people of influence \xe2\x80\x93 starting with our own internal community \xe2\x80\x93 and spark widespread coverage, conversation and genuine engagement. We\xe2\x80\x99re driven by a desire for impact and change \xe2\x80\x93 living our S&R mindset, taking a stand for what we believe in, and being vocal on issues that matter to us and our people

Your unique contribution
You will have 4 main areas of responsibility:

Content Creation
  • Plan, brief and deliver impactful content, with a particular attention to engaging offline/hard-to-reach audiences.
  • Have a keen eye for a good story and be an impactful storyteller and be skilled in writing for numerous types of audiences and translating complex business and brand messaging into compelling comms for all channels in the internal tone of voice.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of video content. Collaborate with External communications, Brand and S&R teams to support 360 communications development.
  • Plan, deliver and measure communications campaigns that drive engagement


Operations Communications
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our Operations function to identify and leverage the operations ecosystem for effective communications.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of communications to support the operations roadmap including a focus on safety culture to reduce risk and eliminate incidents and accidents in the workplace.


Channel Ownership and Communications Asset Management
  • Be the channel manager for all internal channels
  • Work on our website/Intranet to activate plans and create and upload content to deadlines.
  • Contribute to the Chivas Brothers communications master planner and internal communications calendar
  • Maintain internal photo and video assets


Internal Events
  • Collaborate with the Senior Events Manager to produce engaging and inclusive internal events, such as Leadership Briefings, Christmas Parties, workshops and Responsib\xe2\x80\x99All Day


Your blend of talent
This position could be right for you if you have:
  • 2 to 4+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in internal communications (or similar) through work history, industry placements or internships
  • A true passion for writing, with strong writing skills and experience with creating a large variety of offline and online content for various audiences
  • Change management communications experience
  • Flexible attitude and comfortable to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively prioritise a varied workload
  • The ability to work as part of a geographically disbursed team
  • Experience in creating and editing videos
  • The ability to travel between our sites which are often in remote areas
