Role purpose

The Internal Communications Executive at ISG will:

  • Be a contributor to ISG, achieving its objective to be a 3* company and outstanding employer through engaging communications and campaigns.
  • Develop and implement practical communications plans that support identified business drivers and deliver impact through the most effective use of channels.
  • Help deliver communications across all areas of ISG; including group-wide campaigns and change initiatives.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the communications function, identifying opportunities to bring fresh ideas and latest thinking.
Key accountabilities
  • Ensuring organisational initiatives, projects and campaigns are successfully communicated to employees and key stakeholders driving the right behaviours
  • Planning, editing, writing and publishing compelling content for a variety of internal communications channels including the intranet, email bulletins and newsletters, internal social media.
  • Developing and delivering detailed and engaging communications plans to support change initiatives across the business
  • Storyboarding or translating ideas to the creative team of designers
  • Using data analytics to measure the effectiveness of communications and adjust content accordingly
  • Play a key role in supporting business leaders to help them engage effectively with their teams or other stakeholder groups.
Skills & experience

Essential skills
  • Excellent writing and editing skills as well as the ability to source stories.
  • Creative and compelling written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • A proven track record in delivering engaging and effective communication campaigns and programmes.
  • Good IT skills, including experience in publishing to web and social media platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work confidently and effectively with people of all levels across regional/global geographies
  • Able to flex to brand standards and required tone of voice relevant to audience and channel
  • Skilled in prioritising and managing their own workload
