Equans is looking for an Internal Communications Executive to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Internal Communications Executive is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of internal communication activities for key pillars of 'Our Fundamentals', our Equans group reference guide that outlines our shared strategy, management and ways of working.
This role will work closely with functional business areas, including CSR, finance, procurement, and HR teams, and the operational divisions across Equans,acting as the business partner to strengthen employee engagement and develop a culture of collaboration and awareness across the organisation.
The Executive will be a valued contributor to the internal communications team, supporting the development and delivery of other internal communication activities and initiatives across the UK Business Unit to increase understanding of the UK strategy and ensure consistency between divisional, national and Group messaging
What will you deliver?
The post holder will be required to enthusiastically drive and deliver Equans objectives and ensure achievement of required Equans standards within the role.
Act as the communications business partner to key areas of the UK Business Unit to develop, coordinate, update and deliver communications plans throughout the organisation in order to improve adoption, efficiency and awareness for UK colleagues
Develop, draft and implement internal communications materials, such as email communications, briefing packs alerts, posters, digital content and business updates
Create internal communications that are clear, accessible and relevant for a broad audience, and aligned with other UK internal communication activities
Draft and manage content for the UK Business Unit intranet, employee app and all other internal communications channels for the wider business (including SharePoint sites / portals, webcast platforms, internal videos)
Participate in a UK-wide Internal Communications Network and contribute to the internal comms calendar to ensure effective collaboration and consistency of message across divisions and functions
Support internal events and initiatives, (e.g. the annual Senior Management Conference, webcasts and other engagement events)
Report on the effectiveness of internal communications activity
Respond to ad hoc internal requests for communications support

Who are we looking for?
Proven experience in a communications related role, preferably including business partnering experience, experience within support functions such as HR, finance or IT
In-depth knowledge of the key elements associated with effective internal communications
Strong communicator and confident to interface effectively with a range of stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and persuasive skills and experience in explaining complex information quickly and concisely
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and a strong, collaborative team player
Highly agile, able to understand and balance national and divisional needs and priorities, and who is flexible and willing to support other related duties as required
Able to work under pressure, prioritise work, and adhere to tight deadlines while maintaining quality
Creative skills with the ability to propose and implement initiatives, and logistical / planning skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and to required budget
A high-level of IT knowledge with experience in management of internal communications tools, including digital tools such as SharePoint and Office 365 functionality, and app-based content management systems
High level of attention to detail
