Ruskin Mill Trust are seeking a dedicated Internal Quality Assurer who will hold responsibility for ensuring the standardisation and verification of specific Accredited Programmes including maintenance and continuous improvement of the planning, tracking, delivery and assessment of these programmes.
The successful applicant will support tutors and teachers in the planning, delivery and assessment of qualification units. This will include comprehensive planning through the development of the assignment briefs, in session support and monitoring, and the development of differentiated methods and materials to ensure effective assessment evidencing which enables the student to meet the needs of the assessment whilst also maintaining the integrity of the qualification outcomes.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with the Education planning and management team to ensure students have accurate and beneficial qualification pathways. They will be expected to hold regular standardisation meetings and staff training sessions, representing the College at Cross Trust meetings, and liaising closely with external accreditation and awarding organisations as appropriate.
As the Internal Quality Assurer, you will be responsible for the internal quality assurance and safe storage of all assignment briefs and completed portfolios, the production and maintenance of sampling plans and the registration and claim through the relevant awarding organisation portal.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with internally assuring the quality of assessment and hold a level 4 qualification in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment or a willingness to gain such qualification.
