We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Internal Recruiter

to help expand and support this national network. In this key role, you'll be responsible for sourcing skilled subcontractor engineers, managing end-to-end onboarding, ensuring compliance, and delivering a comprehensive welcome experience to set new joiners up for success. You'll work closely with the wider Network Team, helping to maintain a high-performing, compliant, and well-supported workforce. Key Responsibilities:



Source and engage subcontractor engineers (e.g., gas engineers, electricians, plumbers) through job boards, professional platforms, and direct outreach. Conduct candidate screenings and ensure all compliance checks are completed, including Right to Work and DBS requirements. Deliver structured onboarding and welcome calls, clearly communicating expectations, processes, and systems to new engineers. Work closely with the Network Team to identify hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies. Manage the full recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring documentation and system entries are accurate and up to date. Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates to ensure a high-quality candidate experience. Monitor recruitment activity and use data insights to improve processes and outcomes. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to help attract top talent. Support internal referral initiatives to expand the network of qualified trades professionals.

What We're Looking For:



Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or resourcing--ideally within a technical, engineering, or field-based environment. Strong sourcing skills, with the ability to identify and attract candidates across various platforms. Clear and confident communicator who can build rapport with candidates and internal teams. Highly organised, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and meeting deadlines. Strong attention to detail, especially when managing compliance-related documentation.
