The Role
This is a varied, fast-paced position where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles,shop-floor, technical, and professional. While also providing essential HR administrative support.
You'll play a key part in shaping their team, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience, and supporting HR processes that keep their people engaged and the business running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and develop role profiles.
Write and post engaging job adverts to attract top talent.
Actively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, industry networks, and referrals.
Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate hiring processes.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and metrics to track progress.
Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through to on boarding.
HR Administration
Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and on boarding documentation.
Maintain up-to-date employee records in line with GDPR and company policies.
Support the administration of training, performance reviews, and absence management.
Assist with policy updates and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
Handle general HR queries in a timely, professional manner.
About You
Proven experience in recruitment, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and candidate assessment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport at all levels.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Discreet and professional, with a strong understanding of confidentiality in HR.
Confident using HR systems, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office.
