This vacancy is internal, available only to those currently engaged via a contract of employment with the Council.
The Regeneration Officer will work across a broad spectrum of Regeneration Opportunities including physical regeneration projects, energy, digital, transport and alternative service delivery models that contribute towards achievement of the growth and investment vision and strategy for the Regeneration of Blaenau Gwent.An opportunity has presented itself within the Regeneration and Community Services directorate for an experienced Regeneration Officer. You will play a key role within the Regeneration Opportunities Team in supporting the Team Manager Regeneration Opportunities in the identification, development and delivery of regeneration projects as outlined within the Regeneration Opportunities Team Business Plan.
Essential criteria for this role includes a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and experience of working in the area of Regeneration. You must hold a full current driving license, with access to a vehicle to travel to other sites around the authority. The successful candidate will have the ability to promote and manage workloads effectively and work to deadlines with project management and organisational skills.
The position carries an Approved Casual Car User Allowance therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement. Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process.
