Summary
We are currently looking for an Internal Office Administrator to join our busy company on a full time basis, the role will be based at our office in Castle Donington.
You will need to be computer literate and would be using an Oracle based JDE system - full training on this will be given however experience of an office administration role is preferable
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Sales Operations and Customer Service
Daily SOP Operation
: Oversee and control daily Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to sales operations.
Sales Enquiries
: Respond to and complete all sales enquiries promptly.
Sales Order Processing
: Convert and produce sales orders up to the pick slip stage.
Pick Slip Preparation
: Prepare pick slips from NKJ invoices based on AF/SF receipts.
Customer Service
: Serve as the first point of contact for phones and customer service queries along with other responsible people
Logistics and Warehouse Support
Warehouse and Logistics Backup
: Provide backup support for warehouse and logistics operations as needed.
Delivery Charge Pricing
: Calculate and price delivery charges for customers.
Courier Coordination
: Act as one of the primary contacts for courier issues and tracking problems.
Forklift and Safety Management
Forklift Operations
: Serve as the main forklift controller, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Safety File Management
: Maintain and update files and records for forklift operations, fire logs, fire extinguisher safety checks, and fire alarm call point checks.

2. Logistics/Stores/Warehouse duties - cover required for absences
Packing orders on a daily basis for despatch to our customers in the UK and non UK countries. Receiving Air Freights and Sea Freights each month unloading and dealing with in the appropriate manner. Stock take and general warehouse duties. Some heavy lifting involved. Working to time scales maximising work time.
Daily use of Fork lift - experience welcomed although training will be provided as license exam will be undertaken for those who do not already have.
