Coppice, part of the EP Group, is an international supplier of aluminium packaging to the food manufacturing processing and baking industries. We are currently recruiting a Internal Sales Administrator.
Working as part of the Internal Sales Team you will work closely with both Internal and External Sales Teams to ensure customer requirements are being fulfilled as required and to the agreed standards. The Administrator will receive and process sale orders online or via phone and email, checking the accuracy of orders, maintaining sales records. The Sales Administration role is a key member of the Internal Sales Team and performs a critical function within the business, as is a pivotal point between other key departments and customers alike.
Dealing with enquiries or complaints, both internal and external in a timely fashion ensuring fast turnaround times and delivering solutions to any barriers faced, ensuring customer satisfaction is a priority at all times.
Specific role responsibilities:
Ensure correct paperwork is completed accurately and timely for all orders
Deal with and process customer queries, complaints and discrepancies (both verbally and via email)
Answer all enquiries/complaints in line and provide the customer with the appropriate levels of support
Creating and processing orders in a timely manner, processing requests for rush orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction
Develop close customer working relationships with new clients and existing customers ensuring that new and repeat orders are obtained
Issuing sales transaction invoices
Maintaining and updating sales and customer records
Creation of new accounts
Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, as requested
Liaising with the transport team to arrange deliveries, as well as providing customers updates on delivery dates
Other duties including generating reports, postal duties, arranging samples and other requirements as and when they arise
Ensure housekeeping within work area is maintained at the highest level ensuring adherence to BRC accreditation and standards at all times
Ensure and maintain a safe working environment by adherence to HSE requirements
Complete Hazard Tags where required
Support continuous improvement activities and initiatives
To carry out or assist with any duties as deemed necessary in connection with the business
Knowledge/skills/experience:
Good standard of education, with demonstrable skills in customer service, relationship building and problem solving
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Works effectively - tackling immediate demands decisively, whilst retaining a broad awareness of emerging requirements.
Demonstrates a good sense of priorities, structures workload effectively and delivers consistently good results
Attention to detail in key area across all aspects of this role
Flexible & adaptable to the changing requirements of the business
Ability to meet deadlines and work under time pressures
Good communication skills - written, verbal and visual
Good IT Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word)
