Part of a global Group which has operations located around the world, the Group is focused on achieving excellence in the design, manufacture and supply of fluid conveyance solutions, components and associated equipment for high-pressure hydraulics, refrigeration, and mining applications. About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic
Trainee / Junior Internal Sales Administrator
to join our internal sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in sales administration within the hydraulic and pneumatic industry. Full training will be provided to develop your technical product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales administration capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the internal sales team and assist with day-to-day sales operations.
Handle incoming calls and emails, responding to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Prepare and process quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders accurately.
Assist in maintaining customer records, price lists, and product databases.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and product information.
Support the external sales and service teams with enquiries, and general coordination.
Learn about the company's products and services, including hydraulic hoses, fittings, and pneumatic components.
Help ensure excellent customer satisfaction through efficient and friendly service.
Carry out general office duties such as filing, document preparation, and stock/order updates.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Confident telephone manner and customer-focused approach.
Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Organised, reliable, and eager to learn.
Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
