We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Internal Sales Assistant to join our dynamic Sales team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service within the team whilst assisting with customers and suppliers and supporting the operations of our Sales Department.
Duties
: Helping with all aspects of a busy Sales department, with a view to progressing into a full Sales Coordinator role with training and experience.
Taking enquiries from customers
Dealing with suppliers, asking for quotations and chasing outstanding items
Processing customer sales orders and updating them in progress of orders
Creating supplier purchase orders
Preparing quotes for customers
Dealing with customers on the trade counter
Picking goods from Stores and putting stock away
Updating computer systems with customer, supplier and product information
Helping other departments where necessary
Requirements:
Literate, confident and good communication skills.
Good numeracy and maths skills.
Ability to work with different computer systems.
Use of Word, Excel & Outlook
Good organisational skills.
Happy working in a bustling, open plan office.
Physically fit and capable of safely lifting, moving, and handling products as required by the role
Desirable:
Ability to learn and grasp technical aspects of pumps and fluid engineering.
Ability to apply learned knowledge to specify correct products and help with customer enquiries.
Ability to learn about and understand a large product range, including pumps, valves, pipes and fittings, controls and much more.

Pay: 12.80 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
