The Internal Sales Coordinator role will be responsible for supporting the sales and business development teams to ensure a seamless customer journey. Ensuring that all day to day administration duties are maintained efficiently and effectively and that systems are accurate and updated to reflect current status whilst outlining next actions. Accuracy of all elements within the CRM is a key aspect of this role to ensure customers receive the correct information first time every time.
Follow up all open sales leads and opportunities with the support of the technical account manager.
Contact the customer by phone and email to gain updates on project status and update the CRM system to reflect current status and next steps.
Document sales activities and client interactions in CRM software, tracking sales progress and include details of all electronic and telephone call communication.
Present regular reports related to sales activities and current pipeline status.
Ensure all system administration is maintained and the system is accurate and appropriate at all times.
Adjust all probability and confidence percentages in the CRM system providing a quick glance view of project status.
Generate new quotes and modify existing quotes as needed to meet the needs of the customers project requirements.
Create relationships with new and existing customers acting as a direct point of contact for general questions and sales enquiries.
Ensure that all project training is current and up to date, requesting support and training updates as needed to support sales activities.
Support the technical account manager with customer meetings and site visits as needed.
Provide feedback following customer engagement to the wider team ensuring any complaints are logged and best practice reported and acknowledged.
Support the wider office team with day to day activities and cover whilst team members are absent.
Skills & Qualifications
Competent in delivering sales administration tasks /Inside Sales.
Proficient in the use of electronic systems and MS Office platforms.
Adept with ERP and CRM platforms for effective pipeline management.
Works with marketing teams on vertical campaigns and follow up after marketing activities.
Experience
Proven experience in the correct use of ERP and CRM systems.
Evidence of collaborative sales experience and ability to deliver through consultative selling techniques.
Experience of quote generation and pipeline management.
