Position Summary



The Internal Sales Coordinator is the central point of contact for our Customers, Operations team and External Sales representatives. This role manages the full order-to-delivery process, handles enquiries, and keeps all stakeholders aligned.

Key Responsibilities



Own a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely responses and high service levels Process quotes, enter orders into the ERP system and issue order confirmations Liaise with Production and Purchasing to confirm order status, inventory availability and realistic lead times Track order progress and proactively update customers and external sales on shipment schedules Address technical, quality or delivery enquiries--escalating to Engineering or Quality Assurance when needed Share account developments, upsell opportunities and customer feedback with the External Sales team Maintain accurate customer, order and forecast data within CRM/ERP for reporting and planning Coordinate logistics: carrier bookings, shipping documentation and special handling instructions Identify potential bottlenecks and collaborate across teams to meet or exceed customer KPIs

Required Skills and Competencies



Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise under tight deadlines Proven relationship-building skills across internal teams (Operations, Engineering) and external contacts (sales reps, customers) Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems Microsoft Office abilities, especially Excel for analysis and reporting Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment Collaborative team player with tactful negotiation skills

Experience



Must have previous internal sales or account management experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment Experience working alongside Operations or Supply Chain teams preferred

Dependant on experience

Working Pattern



Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Pay: From 24,444.42 per year
