The Person

The role is suitable for a person who is customer focused and well organised, possesses excellent time management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will require attention to detail and have good written and verbal communication. They will need to be a strong team player, whilst being able to use their own initiative and work independently. A knowledge of Electrical Automation would be beneficial as would an experience in sales, growing customers both new and existing from an internal position.

Key Skills

Customer service focused, to interact and deal with customers via telephone and email.

Internal Sales experience

Self-motivated

Good Telephone manner

Computer experience essential including Microsoft office

Good Literacy ability

Automation, control or Industry knowledge and technical ability desirable

Duties

Liaising with customers via telephone and email.

Proactively selling to new and existing customers via telephone and email

Being involved with all product and customer promotions.

Cross-selling and upselling core products within customer base

Being in charge of prospect calling and new account engagement

Growing and managing key accounts from an internal position.

Dealing with customer enquiries, offering a good customer service and experience.

Using Kerridge SAP System, processing customer orders and quotations.

Run regular reports for internal usage and for customers.

Logging and following up opportunities on the company CRM

Liaise with External Sales Team, other departments and manufacturers as required, and operate in accordance with Quality Assurance and Health & Safety directives.

All other reasonable duties as requested.

Salary negotiable based on experience.
