Description
Reporting directly to the Home Counties Commercial Manager for Readymix, the successful candidate will ensure that they attract, retain and grow a portfolio of professional self-builder customers for our UK Business.
Key Responsibilities:
Increasing profitability of the business through generation and follow up of enquiries,building relationships with customers and ensuring pricing is maximised and accurate.
Pro-actively sell as directed by current initiatives, meet and exceed targets and KPI's set.
Provide a critical link between customers and our business, developing effective partnerships to ensure the relevant information is provided and our customers receive the highest levels of service to create customer satisfaction.
Work as part of a team and contribute to business objectives.
Maintaining and fully utilising all Digital tools provided and giving customers an exceptional omnichannel experience.
Prioritise and multitask daily duties.
Excellent organisational skills.

A proactive, self-motivated approach.
A high level of commitment to success.
Ability to build strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders.
This role will involve working closely with our external commercial team for advice if required on pricing & suitable mixes that offer Cemex the best value (VAP). The role will also require close involvement with our planning team as to the timing of deliveries also making sure logistically suitable i.e. distance travelling with product that has 2 hour shelf life.
There will also be a requirement to maintain comprehensive records using the processes available as we track the progress of new enquiries.
It's likely that the new role will allow for relation building amongst peers in other operating businesses.
Skills Required
You will also:
Have previous experience in internal sales and proven ability on closing sales.
Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
Have experience of building successful relationships with internal / external stakeholders,
Have high computer proficiency ideally with knowledge of SAP & CRM Dynamics plus Office 365 programmes.
Be highly organised with demonstrable planning and delivery capabilities.
Have an excellent telephone manner
Be Customer focused
Product knowledge is desirable
Have proven ability in handling objections to a desirable outcome
Have good attention to detail and effective time management
Qualifications.
Hold a minimum of GCSE level in English & Maths.
