Kelvelec Electrical Supplies Ltd is an established Electrical Distributor based on the outskirts of Kelvedon. We supply a nationwide customer base with electrical equipment on a next-day service using our UK courier network. No industry experience is required -- full training will be provided.
The Role
We are looking for a confident and proactive
Internal Sales Executive
to join our growing, friendly team. This full-time, permanent role reports directly to the
Business Development Manager (BDM)
and is a key position focused on generating new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting the ongoing growth of our national customer base.
Hours:
40 per week -- Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Key Responsibilities
New Business & Sales Development
Proactively identifying, researching, and contacting potential new customers
Making outbound calls and sending targeted emails to introduce our products and services
Following up warm leads and converting enquiries into sales opportunities
Creating tailored quotations and proposals under guidance from the BDM
Building early-stage relationships with prospective customers to understand their needs
Supporting sales campaigns and outbound business development initiatives
Customer Relationship Management
Maintaining regular communication with existing customers to identify additional sales opportunities
Handling inbound sales enquiries promptly and professionally
Providing confident product support and ensuring a positive customer experience
Sales Support & Coordination
Keeping CRM records, customer information, and prospect lists up to date
Tracking customer activity and highlighting potential opportunities or gaps
Supporting the BDM with sales pipeline management, follow-ups, and commercial tasks
About You
Experience in a sales or customer-facing role is beneficial but not essential -- we value attitude and drive above all. You will be:
Confident, proactive, and motivated by achieving results
Comfortable engaging with new customers and making outbound calls
An excellent communicator with a professional and friendly phone manner
Organised, logical, and able to manage multiple leads and priorities
Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
A fast learner with strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do approach

having your own car is essential
