To act as internal sales lead, identify, and develop opportunities from within the current customer base, along with prospective accounts. Ensuring all enquiries are well managed in a timely fashion. Efficiently process sales orders, drive additional sales, handle all sales enquiries for the business, andprovide effective administrative support to the team to ensure a smooth running of a busy sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
Manage selected accounts and develop sales to achieve targets
Take an active role in developing product and industry knowledge to enhance the customer experience and sales revenue
Liaise regularly with internal departments to meet customer demands and expectations
Use correct processes to ensure all enquires are handled and managed through the correct channels, in an effective and professional manner
Raise, process and update various systems with PO's, sales orders, quotations and invoices
Provide quotations, ensuring the correct price is used and prices reflect the latest pricelist.
Proactive approach to follow ups to maximise securing the business and tenacious with margins where appropriate
Work to support procurement to effectively win business by maximising buying activities according to procurement processes
Identify opportunities to continually improve processes
Resolve any customer enquiries and issues that may arise in a swift and efficient manner
Liaise with customers and clients over the phone and via emails, ensuring high levels of professionalism and customer service is maintained at all times
Effective CRM management along with filing systems for all documentation, both electronically and paper based
Promote customer focus through the organisation, keep focus on OTIF 99% 3-year target
Ensure the office processes are delivering their intended outputs, through ISO procedures and systems
Comply with Health and Safety responsibilities defined in the company Health and Safety policy
Ensure all information is of a high standard, accurate and managed in a timely fashion in line with company expectations.
Ensure the requirements of ISO9001:2015 standards are maintained, and any changes are implemented
Ad-hoc duties when required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of 3 GCSE's, or equivalent, including English and Maths, at Grade C or above
Passionate about sales with a strong customer service background
Proficient with Microsoft packages (including Word and Excel)
Experience in a previous role would be desirable
A background in a busy distribution centre would be advantageous
