Internal Sales Person

Ultimate Insulation Supplies has an exciting vacancy for an Internal Sales Person. This is a full-time, office-based role with much potential for career progression in the future. The ideal candidate will be organised and hardworking and will ideally have a proven background within the insulation industry or at a builders or timber merchant. Alternatively, this role may be suited to a graduate with a willingness to quickly get to grips with specialist construction products and a new industry.

Ultimate Insulation Supplies is a dynamic, modern-thinking independent insulation merchant requiring an energetic, confident applicant to assist in our busy sales office. We value excellent customer service, a can-do attitude and a willingness to be a team player! A keen interest in sustainable, natural insulation products or building renovation and conservation would be advantageous although not essential. Any previous experience maintaining online sales would also be very desirable.

General role and responsibilities:

Dealing with enquiries varying from large account holders and online customers to small cash sales Working, both independently and alongside colleagues, to meet and exceed sales targets Providing excellent customer service to all customers - face to face, via email and on the phone Expanding our customer base and exploring new sales channels Processing purchase orders, sales orders and quotations in a timely manner Maintaining an excellent knowledge of all brands and products we stock An enthusiasm for sourcing new and innovative products and systems Assisting with regular stocktakes and maintaining stock levels

Essential skills:

Personable and confident when dealing with customers and suppliers Prepared to make outgoing prospecting calls and communications to new and existing customers Exceptional telephone manner, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team Decisive, driven and pro-active approach Good computer skills / quick to grasp new software and sales systems Responsible and methodical attitude to work
