Internal Sales Representative

Job Description

One of R&M branches located in Aberdeen is looking to employ an Internal Sales person to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Sales and Customer Service, in both reactive and pro-active communications.

We formed in 1987, based out of a small industrial unit in Southampton (UK), with a focus on electrical distribution to local businesses. We've experienced considerable growth over the past 37 years. We now employ over 300 people in over 20 offices worldwide, catering to multiple markets. We partner with an extensive network of quality and trusted electrical manufacturers across the globe. Having access to such a diverse product range, which often exceeds safety standards, means that we can provide solutions for all electrical needs.

We supply the complete scope of electrical products from cables to lighting, containment, and much more. Our electrical knowledge, coupled with extensive supply chain management expertise, also extends to bespoke solutions, major project delivery, export management, MRO supply contracts, and value-added engineered solutions.

In 2021 R&M Electrical joined the Niedax Group meaning our family is now bigger, with a collective 65+ locations across the globe.

Salary:

30,000 - 40,000 per year, depending on experience

Hours:

Monday - Thursday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm and Friday 8.00 am - 4.00 pm (with one hour lunch break)

Main Duties:



Proactively maintaining and establishing a high level of customer support to new and existing customers in compliance with the Groups Sales strategy Generating sales activities to promote the growth of the group in general Responding to and following up sales enquiries using appropriate methods and administering generally according to the groups requirements All tasks to be performed in compliance with the Groups Health & Safety and Quality Control systems

Key Skills:



Excellent communications skills, in both verbal and written forms Accuracy and attention to detail A good level of skills in relation to Microsoft Office applications Ability to work as part of a team, but also with own initiative Ability to function under pressure and with an understanding of priorities relating to customer service

Training:

Training will be given on all aspects of the liaison with suppliers & customers and any additional IT required.
