International Sales Executive

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Sales Executive to join a well-established independent business, with over 25 years' experience in the Spirits industry. In the role, you will be working within the sales team to build the company's sales strategy and take responsibility for sales in multiple international markets.

As an international sales executive, you will be reporting to the Head of Sales and working with and identify key customers across primarily Europe, The Levant countries and the Middle East to sell our portfolio of brands. This role will give the right candidate a chance to use their experience and knowledge to shape and influence a small company with big ambition.

Key Responsibilities:



Proactively seek out and chase new business opportunities in key international markets to grow sales. Working directly with international accounts, either distributors or customers, in Europe, The Levant Countries and the Middle East. Assist in developing the strategic approach into new international markets. Build and develop lasting relationships with key accounts and new customers. Utilising existing tools such as the SWA, SDI and DIT to grow our branded customer base. To manage the individual distributors and customers P&L, negotiate joint business plans and promotional spend. Supporting existing Account Managers, sharing valuable knowledge and experiences. Selection of single casks for customer offers and bottlings. This role will involve travel both to our Speyside sites as well as market visits and shows. This role will involve working some evenings and weekends.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience:



Full UK driving licence Valid Passport Some experience in selling branded spirits (especially whisky) into international markets, namely Europe, North America, and Asia would be preferable. Demonstrating delivered growth both volume and value. Able to build joint business plans and promotional spend. Compelling and inspirational communicator, must have excellent interpersonal skills to develop highly effective internal and external partnerships Strong commercial acumen. Strong selling and negotiation skills. A highly developed influencing style and comfortable with constructively challenging and being challenged Proficient in personal planning and time management Knowledge of a second language will be advantageous

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
