Job Overview



As the International Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of international tax compliance, planning, and risk management for the group. You will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, ensuring compliance with global tax regulations, and optimising the company's tax position in alignment with business objectives.


This is a hybrid role, with Crawley as an office-base, with occasional travel to other UK or international offices as required.


Core Responsibilities



Oversee and manage international direct and indirect tax compliance, reporting, and filings across multiple jurisdictions. Support the development and implementation of global tax strategies that align with the company's goals and growth plans. Monitor international tax developments and assess their impact on the business, including BEPS, Pillar 2, DAC6, ATAD, and local regulatory changes. Provide expert advice on the tax implications of new markets, products, or group restructures. Collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders including finance, legal, and business development teams. Lead or assist with transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transaction analysis. Manage tax audits and enquiries across jurisdictions. Support M&A activities, including tax due diligence, structuring, and integration planning. Drive continuous process improvements and automation in tax compliance and reporting.

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes



Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CTA (or international equivalent). Significant post-qualification experience, with strong international tax exposure. Experience within the financial services sector is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of international tax principles, including transfer pricing, tax treaties, and OECD guidelines. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional collaboration. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
