Job Summary



We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee and optimise the company's inventory processes and controls. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager, this role involves ensuring stock integrity across all locations and ensuring system accuracy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, minimising stock provisions, and driving the efficient flow of inventory across the business. You will also be instrumental in developing and managing inventory reports, collaborating closely with internal teams, and leading stock audits.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and lead a small team, including monthly one-on-one meetings and performance management. Generate and oversee all stock reports, including those for the UK warehouse, US warehouse, and global 3PL warehouses. Handle SKU management, ensuring all parts are accurately described, including cost, dimensions, and shipping weights. Take responsibility for stock adjustments within the system. Lead stock audits and stock takes at all locations, including both owned and 3PL sites. Optimise stock levels and composition at each location, ensuring adherence to KPIs and objectives related to: Overall stock levels Stock turns Aged stock Damaged stock And other relevant metrics
Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to drive performance.

Work closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure stock holding targets are being met. Continuously monitor inventory levels and ensure the efficient flow of goods across all locations. Support the wider supply chain strategy with data-driven insights and inventory trends.

What We're Looking For



A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 3 years' experience in inventory management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management position. Strong understanding of inventory management systems and software. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems. Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy. Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and work under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Experience in conducting stock audits and managing stock takes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify areas for improvement in inventory management.
