Here at GXO, we are currently looking for an Inventory Manager to join the team on our Virgin Media contract in Wellingborough. Day to day, you\'ll be responsible for Stock Inventory Management, overseeing the Inventory team to ensure stock integrity, working alongside the Operational Teams.

This is a full-time, permanent position predominantly working Monday - Friday 9 till 5 with some flexibility needed, this is logistics after all.

We\'re looking to offer a salary, circa of \xc2\xa345,000.00, In addition, we offer 25 annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you\'ll do on a typical day:

  • Day to day management of the inventory team, taking responsibility for all aspects of staff performance, including accuracy, process compliance, training and development.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and integrity in line with contractual requirements, minimising stock loss through investigation and resolution of errors
  • Interrogation and approval of departmental spreadsheets / reports as required to ensure the integrity of KPI data
  • Conduct regular customer reviews and manage key stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to use trend analysis to identify issues and areas of potential loss, ensuring all corrective actions are applied in line with the GXO process of continual improvement
  • Provision of all appropriate reporting for both internal and customer required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • SOC1 compliance experience would be an advantage
  • Strong WMS and systems experience
  • Good knowledge of creating and interrogating data and spreadsheets
  • Experienced leadership skills
  • Good customer and stakeholder management
