You will be working flexible hours 5 days out 7 as per business requirements.
We are looking for an Inventory Controller to maintain and operate the stockroom and replenishment functions, ensuring that all delivered stock is stored safely and efficiently in our Selfridges site ( W1A 1AB)
This role will require travel and will offer a salary of up to The job offers a salary of 31 518.75 per annum (including shift allowance).

Oversee the effective running of the shift to ensure products are safely handled through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to, to meet customer expectations.
Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to minimise damage and that manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm.
Responsible for the smooth running of your designated shift, ensuring staff are briefed and managed in accordance with SOP's and WI's.
Oversee employee relations procedures such as holiday authorisations to ensure sufficient levels of employees are available as required to meet operational demands, raising in a timely manner where additional staff are required either on a temporary or permanent basis. Cover shifts for other team members in times of sickness or scheduled holidays or due to extended opening hours due to peak season/special events
Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the warehouse's effective operation, including supporting other teams and shifts as necessary.
Support team manager and perform management duties when manager is absent or out of office
Manage inventories and stock, including keeping detailed records of inventory use and sales
Assist management with hiring processes and new team member training
Ensure safe and effective storage of the goods and carry out regular audits
Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved.
Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Ensure that all MHE is used in an appropriate manner, identifying and arranging relevant training to ensure there are sufficient numbers of trained employees to meet business demands.
Ensure all team members are aware of key outcomes, business processes, and expectations and that all associated employee procedures are adhered to.
Review the training and development needs of functional employees to ensure that employees are trained to the required standards.
Employees receive the appropriate training and tools in order to carry out their roles.
Ensure that all business communications are effectively managed and shared with the team as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience:
Good understanding of both written and verbal English
Supervisory experience is an advantage
Awareness of manual handling techniques
Ability to work as part of a team
WMS - OPUS/Scale/PKMS
