Overview


Soric International is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Analyst to join our Central Services Team. As part of the Soric Central Services Team, you will support group-wide investment activity through detailed research, financial modelling, and data-driven insights. You will apply quantitative analysis and market research to deliver insights that inform investment strategies and support the evaluation and execution of property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the property investment landscape, aligning analysis with Soric International's strategic priorities. Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate project viability, including cash flow forecasting, return on investment (ROI) analysis, and sensitivity testing to assess potential outcomes. Assist in preparing investment memorandums and presentations for the clients and potential investors, highlighting key project insights and recommendations. Monitor and analyse the performance of Soric International's existing property assets, using data-driven insights to optimise asset value and returns. Support acquisition, disposal, and asset management initiatives led by the Soric Central Services Team, with a focus on maximising project outcomes. Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective transactions, including detailed financial and risk assessments to inform investment decisions. Analyse data on asset values, market activity, and construction or development costs relevant to Soric's markets to evaluate project feasibility and potential. Produce comprehensive reports, forecasts, and financial models to guide strategic investment decisions and maximise project success. Maintain and update internal databases and systems for tracking transactions, market profiles, and key performance indicators (KPIs) across Soric's portfolio. Provide actionable analysis to support strategies and provide recommendations that optimise investment returns. Collaborate closely with investment professionals, and internal teams within Soric International to deliver on strategic objectives and project goals Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making. Contribute to the effective management of Soric's investment assets by delivering timely, insightful analysis aimed at maximising project performance and value. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years' experience in investment analysis, financial modelling, or a related field within the property or asset investment sector. Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to build detailed financial models and conduct advanced data analysis. Solid understanding of valuation methodologies and key financial performance metrics relevant to property investment. Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or R. Experience working with listed property investment vehicles or private equity investment structures is desirable. Familiarity with data visualisation and statistical tools (e.g. Tableau, R, Python) for enhanced market and portfolio analysis.
