JOB TITLE: Investment Lead, Citra

LOCATION(S): London

HOURS: Full-time

About this opportunity

The Pathways Investment Lead will be accountable to the CIO (who reports to CEO) and lead the development of investment strategy and growth of the Pathways product.

The Pathways product is in the early stages of development, the business has growth plans to help to alleviate housing pressures across the UK. The Pathways Investment Lead will sit within the Commercial Team while proactively engaging internal stakeholders within Citra and Lloyds Banking Group to develop and deliver the Pathways product.

As Investment Lead, you\xe2\x80\x99ll:

  • Identification of Pathways objectives within Citra and across LBG, engaging with the wider business to determine key drivers which form the basis of the shared ownership strategy.
  • Deliver innovative thinking to develop the Pathways investment strategy, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to build a roadmap to meet LBG\xe2\x80\x99s objectives.
  • Work with the Leadership Team to implement agreed strategy and investments. Including structuring, financial analysis, due diligence, investment approvals and legal documentation.
  • Build and maintain a network of colleagues within LBG, purposefully working with stakeholders and forming relevant feedback channels to partners in the wider business.
  • Present and feedback to the Leadership Team on the continued development and delivery of strategy and company plan.
  • Identify current strategic development partners delivering homes which present product synergies and build new partnerships to drive acquisition scale.
  • Understand and develop financial and broader appraisal models to direct property acquisition and performance metrics. Reporting these back to the business.
  • Create a supportive environment to build Citra colleague\xe2\x80\x99s understanding of the strategy and product proposition. Embedding the agreed roadmap into the core Citra teams.
  • Work with Citra colleagues to ensure the company treats its customers with respect, fairness and transparency and builds the reputation of a high-quality landlord which is raising standards in the sector.
  • Ensure the company operates in a tightly governed manner, following three lines of defence. Operate within a solid risk management culture to assess, measure, mitigate (where able) and monitor financial, operational and reputation risks.
  • Creates new and better ways for the organisation to be successful. For example, motivates others to find new and better ways to address challenges; provides support and resources for promising ideas. Encourages people to incorporate varied perspectives to strengthen the innovation process.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:
  • Prior evidence experience as an Investment Manager with Real-estate industry experience
  • Shared Ownership Scheme experience is essential
  • Ability to build new relationships with clients internally and externally
  • Understand the risk matrix associated with shared ownership schemes
  • Be highly organised and a good communicator
