The City of Doncaster Council and its Economic Development team Business Doncaster is striving to make Doncaster the best place to do business. We are looking for a creative and dynamic individual to raise the profile of Doncaster as a place to invest and help deliver this key objective.
The role focusses on maintaining and continuously improving the content published across the Business Doncaster website and social media channels. It includes delivering high-impact social media content and contributing to targeted marketing campaigns and investment initiatives that strengthen Doncaster's business and investment profile.
The postholder should be experienced in planning social media activity, refreshing web content and analysing their impact. An understanding of economic development would be advantageous. The postholder should be flexible and responsive, working to the needs of the service and understand the value and contribution that can be achieved via delivery of quality activity. The postholder should be expected to work to the needs of the service which can include early morning or evening work (reimbursed by time off in lieu).
