? The Role in a nutshell



As an InvoiceProcessing Specialist at Sustainable Energy First, you will play a crucial role in managing and transforming invoice data into meaningful insights where opportunities for additional revenue can be identified and assist in exceeding our clients' expectations.


You will work closely with the Validation and Financial Reporting Analysts to ensure we maintain a high level of data integrity and quality and the work you do, will have a direct impact on the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our data completeness and quality that facilitates the organisation achieving our business objectives and exceeding our clients' expectations.


?? Invoice Management



Manage invoice data, ensuring it is accurate and complete. Enter invoice data manually and electronically Create and send Journals to enable clients to make swift payment Working towards tight deadlines

?? Administrative Tasks



Triage cases Obtain original & credit invoices from portals where required Work with suppliers to correct billing and obtain correct format

?? Collaboration



Working closely with Validation and Financial Reporting Analysts, you'll ensure high data integrity and quality. Working closely with Analysts and Strategic Account Managers to communicate and resolve data entry issues and delays Communicate with suppliers to resolve electronic data issues and general invoice issues

Your efforts will directly influence the overall efficiency and effectiveness of data processes, helping the organisation achieve its business objectives and exceed client expectations. Your work will help the business identify opportunities for additional revenue and savings for our clients and the business.

Requirements



Strong problem-solving

: Ensuring accuracy in invoice data and identifying discrepancies is crucial.

Proficiency in IT

: Basic IT skills required, and any excel skills are a bonus

Data Entry Accuracy

: Accurate data entry prevents billing errors and ensures timely payments can be made by clients and revenue opportunities can be identified

Strong Communication Skills

: Effective communication with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations

Organisational Skills

: Managing multiple invoices and tasks efficiently requires strong organisational abilities.

Time Management

: Ability to manage multiple clients, prioritising workload and meeting deadlines is vital for maintaining workflow efficiency

Accountability:

Taking responsibility for one's actions and decisions is essential for trust and reliability within the team.

Please note

we are relocating from the Fylde coast to Fulwood (Preston) by the end of August.


Benefits




Salary: 24,242 per annum


Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays + your birthday off, increasing to 30 days on length of service


Hybrid working - you must be able to commute to our Lytham office 2 days p/week

Please note: we are moving to Fulwood this Autumn Flexible working - including the ability to bank up to to 5 extra days off per year Gym contribution
