We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, demonstrating both mechanical knowledge and practical skills with various tools. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial landscapes. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Operate hand tools, power tools, and excavators safely and efficiently during installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules and techniques are followed. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and system evaluations. Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing irrigation systems based on observations and expertise. Assist in gardening and horticulture tasks as needed to support overall landscape health.

Skills

Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including design, installation, and troubleshooting. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and excavators relevant to landscape construction and maintenance. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems and perform repairs effectively. Experience in landscape maintenance practices, including gardening techniques and horticultural principles. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
