About the Role




Edinburgh Airport's IT team is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join as an IT Administrative Assistant.



In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of the action, providing essential support to the Head of IT and the IT Management Team. Your days will be varied and exciting, handling everything from mandatory training compliance to purchase orders and invoicing. You'll also play a key role in the processes that drive our IT Commercial management.

About the Recruitment Process





The recruitment process for this role will be comprised of two interviews, one of which will be in person. You will meet with our IT Delivery Manager, and our IT Change Lead, who will go through a competency based interview to discover more about your experience and motivation in applying for the role. Successful candidates will then meet with our Head of IT.

What you'll be doing




General administrative duties Provide administrative support to the Head of IT Raising and receipting purchase orders Raising invoices to customers & maintaining billing reports Provide support across the team as and when required Tracking team compliance with mandatory training and activities.

What we're looking for





To apply for this role, you'll need:


The successful candidate for this role must be able to obtain a Counter Terrorist Check, which requires you to have lived in the UK for the last 3 years Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) Good grasp of the Microsoft office suite specifically Word and Excel, and keenness to learn how to use other systems Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to track and report on spend Team worker but also able to work independently Pro-active and able to use own initiative
