We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Apprentice, based at our Sheffield office in Woodhouse Mill. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to start a career in IT, offering hands-on experience alongside training and support which will include undertaking an formal Apprenticeship.
Working hours - 37.5 hours per week worked Monday to Thursday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and 8.30 am to 2.30 pm on Friday with a 30 minute unpaid mealbreak each day.

Main Purpose of the Role
:
The role will be primarily focused on learning the skills required to support user IT equipment, including computers, mobile phones and desk phones, but there will be a secondary focus to learn skills necessary to provide support in other areas, including Network and Infrastructure, applications, ERP, EDI, and reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
Support users in using software applications and internal systems.
Maintain and support users with both desktop and mobile telephony systems.
Support users with other IT systems such as conferencing hardware.
Help maintain IT documentation and asset logs.
Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades and rollouts.
Ensure timely reporting and resolution of technical problems.
Expectations:
Applicants are expected to arrive on time each day and wear appropriate attire suitable for a professional office environment.
Applicants should present a positive and professional attitude when dealing with teammates, users, and third parties.
Commitment to completing apprenticeship training and qualifications as required.
Qualifications:
GCSE grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
GCSE grade 4 (or equivalent) in IT (preferred, but not essential)
Experience:
No prior experience required - training will be provided.
