About the Role
Job Overview

  • Lead the IT Asset & Inventory function by setting strategy, defining KPIs and driving performance improvements
  • Manage the full IT asset lifecycle from procurement through to disposal, ensuring compliance and governance
  • Oversee major IT asset projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timescales and budgets
  • Provide accurate reporting, forecasting and risk management across all IT assets and inventory
  • Develop and mentor the IT Asset & Inventory team, building capability, accountability and innovation
  • Work closely with IT, distribution centres, regional managers and stores to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Implement strategic asset and inventory management plans aligned with organisational priorities
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practice, identifying risks and addressing issues promptly
Package Description
  • 40,000 - 45,000 depending on experience
  • Based on site at our Liverpool Head Office
  • 37.50 hours per week

Minimum Criteria to Apply
We are seeking someone with experience in IT asset and inventory management who can lead improvements and ensure effective delivery. The following experience will be valuable:
  • Managing IT assets and inventory at scale, ideally in a large or complex environment
  • Delivering IT asset projects such as rollouts, refreshes and upgrades
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration with a range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of compliance, governance and risk management in asset and inventory operations
  • Relevant certifications in IT asset management or project management are an advantage but not essential
