Reporting to the UK IT Manager, a 1-year placement is available within the IT Department in Burton, working within a small professional team.
About the Role:
As an IT Assistant, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day IT operations, including:
- Provide 2nd line support in a complex manufacturing environment
- Provide day to day support to local and remote users
- Assisting with hardware and software setup and maintenance
- Support the team with network and infrastructure tasks
Required:
- Working towards a degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- A good communicator who is not afraid to interact with users at all levels
- Good knowledge of computer and printer hardware
- The ability to manage your own workload
- Experience with configuring and administering Windows 10 and 11
- Knowledge of server hardware and operating systems
- Knowledge of computer networks and related technologies
