IT Business Analyst

Waterfront office, Brierley Hill

Full Time Permanent Position

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support our legal firm in optimizing legal processes and driving the development and enhancement of our Case Management System (CMS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirement gathering ideally within legal environments, coupled with the ability to drive product development of our Case Management, to ensure the CMS aligns with business needs and enhances operational efficiency.

As the IT Business Analyst, you will be expected to collaborate with legal teams, stakeholders, and IT to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for legal processes and technology initiatives.

What the job involves:

Act as the Product Owner for the Case Management System, managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and defining requirements or user stories. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit detailed business requirements and process improvements. Translate complex legal process requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for development teams. Work closely with the development team and third-party vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs.

What you need:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst ideally within legal, compliance, or regulatory environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of bridging the gap between legal professionals and technical teams. Proficiency in process modelling, requirement documentation, and business analysis tools.
