IT Engineer (2nd-3rd Line)
? Caerphilly | ? On-site (5 days, 1 WFH day after probation) | ? 30-40,000 + 3,600 bonus
We're looking for a skilled IT Engineer to join a busy technical team, providing 2nd-3rd line support while also getting involved in project delivery. This is a role with plenty of variety, where you'll handle escalations, work across infrastructure and cloud, and develop your skills further with training and certifications supported.
What you'll do:
Troubleshoot and resolve 2nd-3rd line issues across infrastructure, cloud, and networking.
Support and deliver IT projects (migrations, deployments, implementations).
Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V.
Work with storage/backup solutions (SAN, NAS, Veeam).
Support security technologies (firewalls, VPN, wireless).
What we're looking for:
Proven 2nd/3rd line support experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server.
Virtualisation experience (VMware, Hyper-V).
Networking & security skills (VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).
Backup/storage knowledge.
Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, ITIL) are a bonus - or willingness to work towards them.
