Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of our IT systems. The role requires expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and integration with facilities management technologies such as Building Management Systems (BMS), CCTV monitoring, and workforce management software.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and delivery of company-wide IT infrastructure to support facilities management operations.
Manage networks, servers, and cloud systems to ensure secure, efficient, and continuous service.
Oversee integration of IT infrastructure with BMS, CCTV, access control, and workforce management systems.
Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, risk assessments, and compliance controls (GDPR, ISO standards).
Establish disaster recovery and business continuity plans for mission-critical FM services.
Provide strategic IT leadership to senior management, aligning digital transformation with business goals.
Supervise IT staff and external vendors, ensuring timely delivery of IT projects.
Analyse operational data (e.g., energy use, predictive maintenance) to enhance efficiency.
Keep up to date with emerging IT trends relevant to facilities and smart building technologies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience in IT infrastructure management or a senior IT systems role.
Strong knowledge of networking, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and enterprise security.
Experience with facilities management technologies (BMS, IoT, CCTV, access control) preferred.
Demonstrable leadership and project management skills.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities.
