About the Role

Churchill China is looking for a passionate and technically skilled

Infrastructure Manager

to join our expanding IT team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional to lead core IT services in a dynamic manufacturing business undergoing significant digital transformation.

You will manage our hybrid cloud environment, oversee IT support operations, and lead a small team. With a mix of strategic project delivery and hands-on support, this role offers scope to shape the future of our IT infrastructure and security posture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage infrastructure support services across the business Provide 2nd/3rd line support and resolve escalated helpdesk tickets Manage internal IT systems including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra, and Office 365/SharePoint/Teams Oversee VMware and Azure environments, including virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) Monitor and manage SAN devices and backups Maintain and support Meraki LAN infrastructure and Fortigate firewalls Deliver cyber resilience and work with vendors to strengthen security Support data collection and rollout of IoT technologies in manufacturing Maintain and test disaster recovery procedures Gather IT usage statistics and make improvement recommendations Contribute to Churchill's cloud-first strategy and full cloud migration by end of 2025

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar infrastructure role or managed service provider (MSP) Strong hands-on knowledge of: Windows Server, AD, Entra Azure and VMware environments Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint Meraki switches, wireless, and LAN infrastructure Fortigate security solutions Backup systems and disaster recovery Strong customer service and user support skills Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities Excellent communicator with a collaborative and approachable style Experience training or supporting users of varying technical ability Passion for IT and continuous learning

Desirable Skills

ERP system experience Oracle or SQL database administration Basic scripting or development knowledge Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments Familiarity with IoT technologies
