Description:
Project Description: supporting and coordinating the urgent 007/SCOS buils in the Walldorf4 DataCenter.
Tasks:
Responsibility for IMAC-D services and processes
Handling of goods receipt
Data center capacity management
Support for hardware maintenance activities
Data center inventory and asset management
Ensuring data quality and generating reports
Validate the rack layouts, do onsite checks if space is meeting the LOB requirements. Check the correctness of all installed HW against provided BCR documents, collaborate with all involved stack holders and making this urgent Installation successfully
Interface and coordination with all external service providers and vendors for data center operations
Requirements:
Several years of experience in data center operations
Technical knowledge of computer, network, and storage hardware
Advanced knowledge of data center equipment
Advanced expertise in hardware maintenance
Familiarity with the coordination of IMAC-D processes
Ability to organize work and complete tasks independently
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to communicate and collaborate in a multicultural environment
High adaptability to change
