Purpose of the role



Responsibility for overseeing the business information technology and computer systems, ensuring that all technical systems, networks, ecommerce, development and software applications run seamlessly for the Jangro Group. I.T is the backbone of the business and with robust security measures in place, will lead with innovative projects and meet business objectives and strategies.

Experience and Qualifications



Minimum requirement - At least one qualification relating to information technology; degree level.

Minimum of 3 years' continuous experience in I.T. system management, hardware and network's role.

Minimum of 3 years' continuous experience working & managing a team, collaborative, and demanding environment.

Experience with ERP systems and website management (Sage 200 & Magento).

Main Duties and Responsibilities



Website



Managing the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, security and development of the Jangro & Member websites.

Working with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and appearance.

Working with your team to improve content and keep up to date with technological trends i.e. AI.

Ensure all legal requirements are met across the entire digital portfolio.

Using web content management systems to analyse website usage statistics.

Monitor, assess, and report on website performance.

Carrying out quality and data integrity assurance checks on content using PIM system.

Ensure domain registration and hosting package are current and secure.

Maintain and manage internal portal development and data integrity.

Jangro Learning Management Solutions (LMS)



Project management of eLearning course creation and content, working with third party eLearning suppliers and sign off from Jangro Committees.

Liaising on the creation of new management reports as required.

Liaising on system upgrades and general maintenance and reporting on such activities to ensure the Board, members and customers are aware of any changes.

To provide support and training on the features and benefits of the LMS.

To promote and seek new opportunities to further utilise the LMS in terms of training administration, eLearning content and management reporting.

General



Working with internal and external software providers monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks throughout Jangro Head Office.

Develop and test business continuity and disaster-recovery plans to minimise downtime and data loss.

Support Jangro Members either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues.

Champion a robust cyber-security posture through technical and procedural controls protecting confidentiality, integrity & availability.

Responsible for maintaining the ISO 27001-aligned ISMS, ensuring policies, processes & controls meet standard requirements.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, ITIL) and promote the best practices in IT governance.

Foster a culture of security awareness across the organisation.

Manage IT budget, procurement and license renewals to optimise cost and value.

Work with the National Accounts team to ensure the smooth running of current procedures, customer requirements and new project requests.

Support leadership team and HQ staff on any digital reporting required for projects.

Providing procedural documentation and relevant reports to Members, Staff and Customers to enable them to understand and utilise all Jangro I.T. tools.

Complete a weekly activity report on all I.T. activities for the Operations Manager.

Provide quarterly project updates to the Board Committee.

Attend quarterly Jangro General Meetings to present IT project updates to the Jangro Membership.

Work alongside the Development Committees on various projects for the Jangro Group.

Ensuring that all aspects of Health and Safety procedures are adhered to within the office perimeters.

Adhere to any reasonable requests which are of benefit to the Jangro Group.
