Overall Purpose of the Role



We are seeking a forward-thinking IT Manager to lead our digital strategy and transformation, align IT strategies with business objectives, and to foster a positive and proactive culture within the IT team of continuous learning and innovation. This is a senior and strategically important role to the business going forward, and is pivotal in driving technological advancements that enhance operational efficiency and support the organisation's growth.



Main Responsibilities

Strategic IT Leadership



Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organisation's goals and objectives. Collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for technological advancements and digital innovation. Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on the effectiveness of IT initiatives. Evaluating risk, ensuring suitable mitigations are in place, and network recovery and back up processes are robust.

Digital Transformation & Innovation



Lead digital transformation projects, integrating emerging technologies to improve business processes and customer experiences. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions. Promote a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration and adoption of new digital tools and platforms.

Team Development & Leadership



Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment and culture. Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth.

Operational Excellence



Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data through robust cybersecurity measures and compliance frameworks. Develop and manage IT budgets, optimising resource allocation to meet business needs. Establish and enforce IT policies and best practices across the organisation.
